FastX (remote desktop) was upgraded today (Thursday) for login nodes available through viz.rc.byu.edu. This should fix the stability and performance issues we have experienced but it cannot access sessions opened before the upgrade. For the next week or so, previously opened FastX sessions can be accessed by directly contacting login03.rc.byu.edu or login04.rc.byu.edu before those nodes are also upgraded.
