How do external collaborators get an account?
External collaborator accounts must be requested by the BYU faculty who is acting as sponsor to the collaborator. They must also be approved by the department chair of the faculty's department. All of this is handled through our website. To request a collaborator account, the BYU faculty member should do the following:
- Log in to our website at https://marylou.byu.edu
- Click on "My Account"
- Click on "Request Collaborator"
- Fill out and submit the "Request New Collaborator" form
Please note that since collaborator accounts must be approved by both the sponsoring department's chair and the FSL Director, they are not handled immediately and may take some time to be created.
